Rhea (pronounced /ˈriː.ə/; ancient Greek Ῥέα) was the Titaness daughter of Ouranos, the sky, and Gaia, the earth, inclassical Greek mythology. She was known as “the mother of gods.“
“Pharrell’s New Masterpiece”, Rhea is a great singer and songwriter who happens to be sexy as hell. When K+R decided to feature Rhea we wanted to do something special with her. The idea was to show the light that shines within her and at the same time break down where that presence originates and “deconstruct” her visually to highlight her glow and the structure of her body with shapes. It’s like the blueprint and the masterpiece are fused together as one. Simple shapes and geometry were used to add a sense of architecture, which has a sophisticated, planned process feeling.
Rhea is one of the most soulful singers out right now. Now that Pharrell has recruited Rhea as the new member of N.E.R.D, be on the look out for some new hot music from the group.
Like we do with all of our exclusive features, we asked Rhea to share with us some of her favorite things. Click below to read what she said.

LONGING: PHOTOGRAPHY BY {DARSHIL SHAH}

LONGING is based in the post independent India when a newly wed wife migrates to UK with her Husband. The traditional cultured wife is trying to come to terms with new lifestyle, different culture and a Cheating husband.
Sex has always been a big taboo in Indian Society so even talking about it is a sin. The virgin wife had huge dreams of her first night after marriage when she will be loosing it all, to her loved one. Unfortunately on the first night itself the husband has left her to see her college sweetheart.
The 20 years of longing and awaiting in anticipation of that first night of marriage. The longing for the family and friends that she has left far behind. The longing for the land and the culture where her belonging and upbringing is. The longing for that Husband who has left her. The longing for that touch of a man and feeling of that masclulinity against her own body.

The Gowanus Studio Space embarks on the renovation of and move to a new, 7000 square-foot space with the fundraising event and exhibition: UMWELTEN. Named for a German semiotic term loosely meaning ‘perceived worlds’, UMWELTEN parallels the artist’s process with an organism’s symbiotic, interpretative relationship to its environment. Before walls are erected and tools hum, music rages and large-scale works reach from corner to dark corner to revive a raw, neglected space.
Art works by Emily Elsen, Brent Howard, Wennie Huang, The Minotaur (Rob Andrews), Jean Pelle, Jennifer Schmidt, Francesco Simeti, Niknaz Tavakolian and Niall Van Dyke - exhibition curated byAngela Conant.

Absolut Vodka limited edition, No Label Absolut
In honor of its 25th anniversary, Absolut Vodka has unveiled No Label, a limited-edition, label-less and logo-less bottle that has made its global debut (though not in the United States). No Label is part of “In an Absolut World, There Are No Labels,” an ambitious initiative by the vodka manufacturer to question prejudice and established norms of sexual identity.
Absolut has always aligned themselves with amazing artists to produce some incredible Ad campaigns. This year is no different. Check out Absolut’s latest commercial:
What do you think guys, Absolut K+R? Now that is an idea….
