HOW TO MAKE FRESH MOZZARELLA by {LUXIRARE}
Posted by Aeric | Filed under Fashion, Film + Video, Food + Drink
Food + fashion…what’s not to love? That fresh mozzarella looks delicious and those gloves are hot. They come off when it comes to getting down to business, but in the end, I guess it’s right that the quality of the real live end product should win out over a sexy image. Plus the gloves are one of a kind, so… More sartorial and culinary intrigue at the addictive and beguiling Luxirare.

PHOTOGRAPHY by {DAVID JAY}
Posted by James | Filed under Art + Design, Fashion
It’s hard to deny how influential the female form can be on ones conscience. An arched back, the tiny wrinkles on her achilles heel when placed snugly into a high heel, a prominent hip bone. David Jay makes no mistake in capturing the power of such characteristics in his work. An exquisite array of subjects all personifying what we stand for here at K + R… beautiful art.
You have to look at this.

2010 VOGUE PARIS CALENDAR by {MARIO SORRENTI}
Posted by James | Filed under Advertising, Art + Design, Fashion, Have to Have
Who needs resolutions? Ring in two thousand and ten with a new vice. The new Vogue Paris calendar features the work of acclaimed fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti. Sorrenti provides a gloriously sexy assortment of blondes drenched in Swarovski crystals. Natasha Poly, Iselin Steiro and Raquel Zimmermann all showed some skin for the new year and have given us a feast for the eyes. The calendar exhibits a cool blue, retro glam striptease that involves dry ice, beaded curtains, and pasties. If rawness was the left thigh and sensuality was the right…. this calendar would be considered the beautiful heaven that lies in between.
Check out the entire spread right here, and say Hello to 2010.

{AERIC’S} TRAVEL NOTES
Posted by Aeric | Filed under Fashion
I took a trip to France recently and found a little slice of heaven in a town called Romans (pronounced like “romance”, natch).
Le Musée International de la Chaussure (The International Shoe Museum) is beyond amazing. 8000 shoes from antiquity to the present and from every corner of the globe (I know the globe is round and doesn’t have corners, but you know what I mean.)
