The first issue of KARIN + RAOUL magazine was ‘PulchriTUDE’. FIVE issues later and we are still ROCKIN’. Cynthia K. Cortes aka Karin shot the cover and Ronin/SS, K+R Creative Director, did the art direction. All the issues are amazing but there is nothing like the first time. NY, NY – On March 23rd the Damon Dash Gallery became the backdrop for the highly anticipated preview of Karin+Raoul, the new magazine of avant garde sensuality, photography and art. The gallery was abuzz with a who’s who of NY’s downtown scene. Presenting the “common in an uncommon way” was the theme of the evening as guests enjoyed wine and cool vibes as images of brazen sensuality played on the walls of the gallery. It was a beautifully staged presentation of the first issue of K+R that is sure to set the city on fire. – Phil Mckenzie
